The nvidia geforce gtx 760 is not a validated card for the x51 r1. Its laptop like power supply with dc dc converter board is well lame. It has always been power and cooling challenged anyway. A week in gaming.

The largest power supply available for this computer is the 330w ac adapter. Evga asus msi and pny have blower style gtx 970s and they will fit without a problem.
